Welcome to the Queen's Conference in Business and Governance (QCBG)!

As the founders of this conference, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to share with you our vision and the driving force behind QCBG’s establishment. Our journey began in the fall of 2022 with a shared passion for the program of Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) at Queen's University. As students of this interdisciplinary field, we quickly recognized the immense value in understanding the fundamental intersection between business, finance, government and ethics in today's world.

In our studies, we discovered that the realms of business and government are deeply intertwined, each impacting the others in profound ways. We realized that to truly comprehend the complexities of these sectors and to prepare ourselves and fellow students for future careers, we needed a platform that brought together the brightest minds, industry leaders, and academia to engage in meaningful dialogue.

Hence, the Queen's Conference in Business and Governance was born.
